Ethan's Lego Creations #1

I saw a flyer for lego time at the local library and a number of things happened.  1) I saw that they had a theme for each building session and then took pictures afterwards - This inspired me to both give more structure to our endless Lego play and to document our creations. 2) I noticed that the class was only for 5 and up (Ethan is not yet 4) - but with some help from Jody we decided we are gonna crash the party one of these days and see if we get thrown out.  It is the kind of library where you will get sushed by other patrons who want quiet, so who knows (I could go on a PRETTY good rant here about the library patrons I have encountered at this particular library... but I won't.. they're all rich folks, they don't know any better).  Anyway, I figured I would try to document some of Ethan's lego creations in the future and here is the first entry.

Papa calls it a Helicopter truck:

This was made by cannibalizing the yellow tractor trailer I got ethan for his birthday last year.  With my help, he actually built the cab and the trailer from the instructions earlier that morning -- It was amazing work on his behalf, just amazing.

A more relaxed pose than the proper little kid showing you his thing by putting it right in front of his face as you take the picture.  I have SO many of those kind of shots of myself from when I was a kid,
